I love the smell & my husband does too. I’ve never used Shea butter before so I didn’t realize that the texture was hard to touch but then it sort of melts in your hand after. There was more friction than I expected when rubbing it on. A few times I got a rash in spots where I rubbed it on- not sure why but maybe I’m allergic to something in it? Overall it’s a great product but I don’t think it’s for me. I’m looking for something that’s smoother when applying on the skin.

I think the product works well but I was surprised by the scent and texture. I expected it to just smell like vanilla and there are other fragrances that I can't identify. It's not unpleasant, but I wouldn't want to smell like that all day. I mostly use it on my hands when I'm getting ready for bed. Also, since it's whipped, I thought it would be lighter and smoother, but it's dense and chunky. Frankly, I'm interested in making my own body butters in the future. I found some simple recipes and that way I will know exactly what I'm getting.
