Both my husband and daughter suffer from eczema. Our daughter Samantha was diagnosed with eczema at 9 months. At the time we could not find anything that would keep her skin moisturized for more than a hour. We would pick her up from daycare and her skin would sometimes be bleeding from the constant scratching.
After extensive research, we learned there were a lot of people in the same boat. Keeping the skin moisturized and figuring out eczema triggers seemed to be a common issue among people with eczema.
It became our mission to become part of the solution. We learned what combination of ingredients worked well with keeping the skin moisturized for extended periods of time. We also began educating our customers through our social media channels about the importance of recognizing your eczema triggers and avoiding them as much as possible. Two of our products, All Over Butter Eczema Therapy and Eczema Relief Oatmeal Soap have received the National Eczema Association (NEA) Seal of Acceptance™.
Chatham Natural Skin Care was not created by a chemist to sell a product. It is the innovation of a mother seeking a solution for her child. It was born out of the most basic and fundamental human experience - a mother’s love.
Our goal is for our packaging to be 100% recyclable in the next 2 years.
