Her vegan, botanical-based products ensure that the health of your feet goes beyond a basic pedicure to moisturized, happy, and healthy feet! BLK+GRN: Why do you do what you do? CHRIS: Hi I’m Chris! I am a Certifed Aromatherapist and the Mastermind behind London's Pedisoaks. I have worn many shoes from military member, avid runner, fashion model to mommy. I would never in a million years think I would have my own handcrafted foot care line, but it embodies all the things I value in my personal skincare products. BLK+GRN: What was your "Aha Moment" and when did your vision start to manifest? CHRIS: In July 2015, I launched London’s Pedisoaks. The inspiration for the brand began during my pregnancy because I suffered from severe edema. The only way to relieve my swollen feet was through warm foot baths and massage. I combined my love for clean beauty with key recipes designed to soften skin & calluses, smooth rough heels, reduce swelling & pain, address the discomfort of high heels and many more common foot frustrations I personally experience each day. BLK+GRN: How is your brand green? Why was this important to you? CHRIS:
BLK+GRN: What’s your favorite black-owned brand on BLK + GRN?CHRIS: Hands down Honey Pot! (besides my own of course….hehehe) BLK+GRN: Why do you think it is important to Buy Black? CHRIS: It’s important to support our communities and help each other rise to our desired successes. BLK+GRN: Which product are you most proud of and why? CHRIS: Nourishing Butter. It’s waterless, potent, creamy and we use a combination of unique nut butters. The icing on the cake… a delicate delicious scent. BLK+GRN: What’s your self-care routine? CHRIS: I am focusing on a whole body approach. Mind: Keeping my stress levels low and allowing myself to make realistic goals. Keeping my mind open to receive new experiences. Body: I am working on getting more sleep, increasing my fitness to 3-4 times a week. Drinking a gallon of water per day. Soul: Being more gentle with myself by having better work |family| partner balance. It is a work in progress but I am feeling better each day. BLK+GRN: Anything else coming soon? CHRIS: We are working on a couple of projects, but nothing to disclose right now.
