Erica Ahmed is the owner of The Green Laundress, an eco-friendly and people-friendly company that manufactures green cleaning products in Maryland since 2016. Trained as a health educator and senior communication specialist in the public health field, Erica started developing cleaning products to address the skincare needs of her young daughter over a decade ago. 

The Green Laundress is dedicated to providing high-quality yet reasonably priced cleaning products to their customers. Our mission is to educate consumers about the importance of using cleaning products that are good for the environment and their health.  We have an unwavering commitment to the well-being of the environment and people.

Erica Ahmed holds an (M.S.) in Health Education from Columbia University and an (M.A.) in Counseling Psychology from Bowie State University.
